What are the dangers of using viagra past its use by date?

I have a large batch from years ago which I bought for a 'friend'.It turned out that he didn't really need them after he met this gorgeous 60yo chick (nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more).They're quite expensive at about €2 or $3 a tab. Should I try to sell them on EBay, donate them to a museum or leave them to science in my will. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as my brain seems to be starved of blood right now.
