I don't want to block my own address. I don't know who else this may have been sent to under my name and how to warn them not to open it. How do I keep it from happening again?

It is not hard and is in fact common practice for spammers to make an email appear to be from the accounts that they are sending spam to. First off never open SPAM. Secondly, you can report spam to the FTC by forwarding the spam with all headers to: spam@uce. gov Note that they will know that you did not send the spam.
